Tamoxifen

The drug belongs to the drugs with antiestrogenic effect, i.e. blocking estrogen receptors. Why does an athlete need it? The fact is that steroids, increasing the production of testosterone, simultaneously increase the level of female hormones, in particular estradiol. If the symptoms are not treated with the use of aromatase inhibitors or their use is insufficient, and the first stages of gynecomastia develop, then a man, instead of a spectacular muscular figure, risks acquiring sagging chest and hips, getting problems with vitality, problems with potency. To prevent such reactions in the case when aromatase and prolactin inhibitors are not enough, Tamoxifen is additionally used.
